RNAscope™ Spotlight Theater Session - Tuesday, April 17th, 12:30 - 1:30pm @ Spotlight Theater C
Genetic Variant Detection in Cancer: Using RNAscope™ ISH to Track Tumor Evolution The RNAscope™ technology is an advanced in situhybridization assay that allows for the visualization of single-cell gene expression, targeting mRNA and ncRNA sequences in tissues.
In this seminar we will examine the RNAscope™ assay’s applications in oncology and immuno-oncology, followed by a discussion on intratumor heterogeneity (ITH). Current methods to analyze genetic ITH rely on the sequencing of flow-sorted populations, in which the spatial context of tumor subclones is not preserved and rare subclones may not be detected. These shortfalls can be addressed with BaseScope™ ISH: a unique mutation-specific RNA in situ hybridization assay. Join us to learn more.
